Roller Coaster Tycoon Downloads, Pinball Machine

Minor update. I added a bunch of new RCT2 files. I’ve had a couple of slow days and spent some quality time with RCT2. Look for the next photo update (SFMM) in a week or so. Speaking of RCT2, you may or may not know that I entered the official contest (info included in the RCT2 box) to design a multi-dimensional coaster. Turns out I won the pinball machine for the 19 and older age category. I just received word yesterday that the machine should be here in 6 to 8 weeks. I’ll probably add something to the “special features” section when it gets here.

Six Flags Great Adventure Pictures

New pictures in the Six Flags Great Adventure Gallery! Check out the 22 brand new photos of Superman Ultimate Flight from it’s first day open to the public (they’re at the bottom of the roller coasters page - yes, I was too lazy to squeeze them in at the top). There are also some new pics of other coasters too. With this update we now officially have over 1000 original roller coaster photos. This is in addition to almost 800 photos of other rides and general park photos. Don’t think it ends here. Expect galleries featuring Six Flags Magic Mountain, Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Six Flags America to be added in the upcoming weeks.

Superman Ultimate Flight Video

The update frenzy continues! Brand spankin’ new Superman Ultimate Flight Video in our video section of the site just waiting for your consumption. As I type this it’s 2am and less than 15 hours ago I pulled up and parked in the shadow of Six Flags Great Adventure’s newest coaster. The temperatures were very low, the wind was ridiculous and my hands were numb - but the video is here. It was a crazy day. The park was empty except for the diehards looking for a shot at their own personal “Ultimate Flight”. The ride even went down a few times during the day and alternated quite a bit between one and two train operation, but Six Flags pushed on and delivered the new coaster on it’s promised date. This was the first time I’d ever ridden a coaster the day it opened to the public, and while it seems cool now, by the end of the season it won’t make a bit of difference whether I was number one or number one million. The bottom line is that the video is available. Go check it out. I’m not making promises here, but don’t be suprised if photos of S:UF show up here sometime this weekend. It wasn’t exactly a pretty day for photography of any kind but we stuck it out and had a good deal of fun in the cold. Special kudos go out to my family for dealing with 87 degree heat on Wednesday at Six Flags America then driving to Jersey and enduring the coldest wind chill temperatures we’ve seen since the dead of winter. You’re lucky if you find a wife and kids half as cool as mine. Did I mention you should go check out the video? I’m off to clean all the dirt out of my camcorder - damn wind!

Knott’s Berry Farm Pictures

In our 7th major update in less than a month we’ve added Knott’s Berry Farm Pictures. 55 new, all original pictures from our visit this past January. Some great pics in there, make sure you check it out. Next update will happen this weekend. Look for some Superman goodies - pics and maybe even a video from SFGAdv.

Las Vegas Pictures

Added Las Vegas Pictures. I was very pleased with some of these shots and I dare say some of them are as hot as Vegas itself. Lots of coaster pics but also a bunch of casino photos. You don’t even have to be a hardcore coaster fan to enjoy the Vegas gallery. This marks the 6th major update in less than a month. Don’t think it’s going to stop any time soon - we have Knott’s Berry Farm photos coming in a couple of days. Coasterimage.com currently features a gallery with just shy of 1700 photos. This includes photos of 129 roller coasters and 199 other rides and attractions and we’re not stopping anytime soon. I’ve also done a bunch of little updates to the site that no one will even notice - just keeping things running at their finest.
