Canada’s Wonderland Pictures, Tomb Raider Video
Oct 25, 2004Paramount Canada’s Wonderland pictures are now online with 70 pics. That brings us to over 3200 photos (over 1800 photos of just roller coasters)! On top of that, I’m hooking you up with a Tomb Raider: The Ride video I tossed together. Just a little something to help make up for the lack of updates this month.
I really want to apologize for the slow updates lately. One of the things I hoped to never do when I put this site online was go weeks at a time between updates. I’ve been WAY busier than normal and trying to work on the site with the little free time I’m finding. On top of that I’m working on a whole new layout for the site - new look, new feel, new pants - whatever. In all honesty, when I threw this site together I wasn’t forward thinking and I wasn’t concerned with much more than finally getting it all up and going. It’s starting to catch up with me. The site becomes harder and harder to keep control of with tons of pics - nevermind the videos, downloads, features and stuff. Plus, this isn’t really the look I wanted when I jumped into this. I was messing with ideas and before I knew it, this is the one that took over. I’ve been trying to clean things up and keep on top of everything, but it’s time for a total redo. When will that make it’s way online? I’d like to tell you by the new year, but I think that’s being very optimistic. My second target would be late February just in time for our 2 year aniiversary. Slightly more realistic. If I miss that I will have it all up before next season kicks in.
So the deal is - I’m very busy with real life issues, I’m working on a whole seperate “bastard twin” site and I’m still trying to keep the updates rolling. Things slow down, but I think I have a relatively simple new design that looks really nice and will be low on maintenance. (pretty much everything the current site isn’t) I don’t want to be one of those sites that never seems to update. Stick with me, I’ll keep pumping out the new stuff as quickly as possible, okay? Cool.
Idlewild Park Pictures
Oct 4, 2004New Idlewild Park Pictures online. Also added more RCT3 screens and vids. Not much else going on. Idlewild makes 53 parks in our gallery and we’re just shy of 3200 photos at this point. Tons of stuff to check out around here. I still have 5 more parks to add from the Canada trip. Expect those to roll in over the next few weeks.
It looks like we’ll be finishing the 2004 season at Kennywood for Phantom Fright Nights. Nothing like rides on the Phantom on cold October nights. Then the long wait for spring of 2005 begins. Maybe we’ll see some of you there!
