Valleyfair Pictures
Jul 28, 2005I had hoped to have this update online Monday, but got kind of distracted. I picked up the Soaked add-on for Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and got a little sidetracked. Maybe it’ll motivate me to get some more RCT files together and add them to the site. We’ll see. Then on top of that we made a little impromptu trip to Conneaut Lake Park last Friday. I ended up with some really nice shots of Blue Streak so expect those sometime down the road.
What I do have for y’all today is 78 brand spanking new Valleyfair photos. There’s some good stuff in there so go take a peek.
I’m not sure what’s up next. I have a couple of tiny galleries that would make for some rapid-fire updates, so maybe I’ll get on those.
That’s pretty much what’s going down in coasterimageland, check back in a week or so for more new pics.
Mt. Olympus Pictures, Hades Video
Jul 14, 2005Goodies! We got goodies! Lots and lots of goodies! (sing it to the old Letterman viewer mail song and it’s quite fun) - And not just any old goodies either. We got all you could want on what may just be THE coaster of 2005. There was tons of hype among enthusiasts before, during and after construction of this coaster. In the few months since it opened the response seems to be overwhelmingly positive. Who am I to argue? We’re encouraging all of you to “go to hell” with a slew of new Hades material.
Mt. Olympus Theme Park becomes the 60th park added to the site. In addition, we’re hooking you up with a cool little Hades Video and a Hades Wallpaper as well.
With this update we now have more than 3600 photos in the gallery and of those there’s more than 2000 of just roller coasters alone! Things just keep getting bigger by leaps and bounds around here. We get more and more visitors every week, you guys keep snagging the gear we have available, I get e-mail all the time asking about rides or the site or future plans, I get told stories of how much people enjoy the site or how it inspires them to visit certain parks or even try their hand at park photography and I’ve made quite a few friends thanks to this little hobby of mine.
I always like to make some little quip about hanging on for the ride or things coming faster or whatever, but it remains true. I have a myriad of new stuff coming your way with no slow down in the forseeable future. Keep stopping by and keep passing the word along about the site. The more you guys support what we’re doing here, the more we can do. Thanks everyone and enjoy the new stuff!
Some Little Updates
Jul 4, 2005So we’re home and recuperating from the last two weeks and I’m just sorting though all the stuff I got along the way. I’m just working randomly on stuff, photos, videos, wallpapers, whatever. There’s a lot of great stuff. I always think I blew it until I get settled in at home and have a chance to really look at things. Not too many disappointments in the bunch and plenty of “money shots” to be oohed and ahhed over. With 11 parks of material to get online there should be top notch stuff flying directly at your head for quite a while.
I did some small updates around the site. Just minor things that needed switched up since this last trip. TheĀ amusement park maps pageĀ has been updated, I got the frequently asked questions up to date and sorted out the schedule page with accurate, up to date information. Things like that.
Let me keep plugging away and I should have new pics, video and more up in a week or two. If you have any requests as to which park you’d like to see first, drop me a line. I make no guarantees, but an e-mail or two showing interest in a particular park or ride could easily influence what gets done first.
Until then enjoy the holiday (for those in the USA) and keep on keepin’ on. (bad 70’s trucker lingo always scores points)
