Site Updates
Nov 26, 2005Just letting everyone know I’m still here. I spent the last couple of days cleaning up the back-end of the site a bit. Clearing old, unused crap off of the server, tightening up pages that were getting sloppy and with the Holidays upon us I added the holiday graphic to the header (like I did for Halloween) - I’m so festive it hurts! There’s a couple of different ones that pop up - hit refresh if you’re the curious type.
I’ll have a new gallery up sometime in the next week. Check back.
Conneaut Lake Park Pictures
Nov 14, 2005I’ve gotten surprisingly busy in the past few weeks and honestly feel bad for not checking in before this. Last time I posted anything here I was on my way to Sandusky for the big Coasterbuzz Podcast with Dick Kinzel. I’m glad to say it went well; Mr. Kinzel was a very nice guy and the Red Garter Saloon was literally standing room only. If you haven’t heard it yet, be sure to download it and give it a listen - good stuff. The podcast ended before 1pm and I spent the rest of the afternoon just hanging and getting some new photos of the park. Expect some really, really nice new Cedar Point photos to show up on the site in the future. I managed more than a few keepers.
What I have this time is an update to the Conneaut Lake Park gallery. I added around 30 new photos - some replacements, some just updated looks, some in addition to what I had. I finally managed to get some good shots of Blue Streak in action on our last visit so it was nice to add those. They round out the collection of Blue Streak photos quite nicely. Make sure you check it out - and there’s no real pattern to where the new stuff is…just look for the pics with the ‘2005′ logo on them.
I was just looking through what I still have to add to the site and it’s actually a hell of a lot. Easily enough to run right into the 2006 season. I have 9 more parks (both new and updates) to add, I have a couple of side features and I just stumbled across some more old park videos that I took a while ago, so there might even be some goodies there too.
