New Roller Coaster Shirts, Souvenir Cups
Dec 15, 2005Just a little quickie for y’all this time. A small update to what is probably the silliest feature on this site - the souvenir cups. I added our 2005 acquisitions. Not too many this year. Seems like we ‘hit-and-run’ more parks this past year than we normally do and also hit more parks that don’t offer these things. At any rate I added the handful of cups we did snag to the Souvenir Cups page of the Special Features.
I’m also slowly adding black shirts to the merchandise offerings, so if you’re interested, feel free to nose around a bit and see what’s up. I’ll be getting more and more available in black over time. Keep an eye out.
I doubt I’ll do another update until January first (although maybe I’ll toss one in there to keep you guessing) so everybody enjoy the holidays. Spend some time with friends and family and just be cool in general.
And even though I say it all the time (and this is getting sappy enough already), I just want to thank every last one of you for supporting the site. I get an odd pleasure (ewww!) out of passing along all of these photos and videos and things to everyone. It’s nice to know people enjoy it. Plus, the more support we get, the more we can give in return. It’s all good.
Closing in on 3 years online and I never expected this site to be as popular as it is. While I like to think I have something to do with it, the truth is it doesn’t matter what you have to offer without someone to enjoy it. So in the end it’s as simple as…Thank You.

NASCAR Speedpark Pictures
Dec 1, 20054000! With today’s update we now have 4000 photos in the park galleries. That’s insane! If you looked at each picture in the gallery for just 5 seconds, it would take almost 6 hours to see them all. It’s pretty cool though, I can remember when I was happy to have a couple of hundred photos on the entire site. Now I have single park galleries that have that many photos.
Anyway, the newest addition are the NASCAR SpeedPark pictures. There’s a bunch of photos from the Sevierville, Tennessee location. It’s a cool little stop if you find yourself heading out to Dollywood. Give it a quick look.
We’re slowly winding down 2005 which means that as soon as the holiday madness ends, it’s time to start thinking about 2006. Heck, some of the seasonal parks open as soon as March. We’re really only 3 months away for kicking this monkey back into gear. In the meantime, I still have plenty of photo goodness coming your way.
Keep checking back, I’ll have another update or two ready to go before the end of the year.
And I just wanted to drop a quick thanks to everyone for supporting what we’re doing here. I’m glad so many people seem to enjoy the site and I really appreciate those of you who pick up gear. It means a lot to me that people dig things enough to slap a coasterimage logo on their body and head out to the parks. That’s about as cool as it gets!
