Geauga Lake Video
Sep 28, 2007With last week’s announcement that Geauga Lake would reduce operations to waterpark-only starting with the 2008 season, I decided it’d be a good time to take all the unused video from our Opening Day visit earlier this year and put together a little Geauga Lake Video. No fancy edits, no crazy tunes - just footage of the park from opening day 2007 - remembering the way it was. Enjoy.
Aside from that I’m still working on the back-end and visuals for the site in my spare time. The main page of the site has switched to the newer look and I’ll be rolling that same look out across other the areas of the site as time permits.
Also, we’re a few hours away from heading out to Santa Claus, Indiana for CoasterBuzz’s Fall Affair event at Holiday World. Should be good fun. Definitely lots of pictures and video coming back. I’ll just add it to the pile of pics and video I have sitting here backlogged already.
Speaking of which, I still have TONS of new material I need to get online. Things should be settling down enough to get on it sooner than later. I already have enough stuff to keep updates coming until next season, so this winter should be fun around here.

Cosmetic Changes Coming Soon
Sep 14, 2007Just checking in real quick. I apologize for the lack of activity around here the last two weeks. If you’ve visited this site for any period of time, you know that as summer fades into fall, I tend to get busy with lots of different things that pull me away from my Coasterimage.com duties. This year is no exception.
However, I have been plugging away at some stuff in my free time. I’m working on a slight cosmetic change to the design of the site and also trying to make the site easier to update (right now everything is done by hand) - so a little front end and a whole buttload of back end stuff. I’m almost to where I can start rolling it out in bits and pieces and finally get back to adding the gazillion photos I still have to get online.
Please be patient for the moment. As soon as you see this page change its look (a little), you’ll know I’m back in action and the updates are following not too far behind. Shouldn’t be more than a couple of days before I can start rolling out the site changes (again, not much that you’ll actaully notice beyond the look of things - and even that’s subtle) and then the pics, vids and assorted goodies will follow.
