More Changes
Oct 29, 2007I know, I know. I promised those new Cedar Point photos by now. Here’s the thing…
I figured I might as well update the Cedar Point gallery from the old look to the new look that the site is taking on. First of all, that’s quite an undertaking with almost 500 photos in the Cedar Point gallery. Then I find my mind wandering and before I know it, I’m updating other pages. Then I notice something else and next thing I know I’ve spent an hour working on completely unrelated (but still useful) things. That’s how the whole last week has gone for me.
While the Cedar Point photos aren’t online yet, you’ll notice quite a bit more got updated in the meantime. Actually, that’s not true - there are some new Cedar Point pictures to be found. All you have to do is check out the trip report I wrote over at CoasterBuzz and you’ll find previews of a good chunk of the new photos.
Please accept my apologies for the wandering mind. I’ll get those Cedar Point pictures up ASAP. I did get some video too and after putting it together decided to make it a DVD exclusive. So you’ll have to wait another month or two until this year’s DVD becomes available (for free, of course) to see it.
So that’s it for now. I just wanted to keep y’all in the loop and let you know why a nice new batch of photos wasn’t waiting for you when you stopped by today. I’ll have them up soon - in the meantime go take a peek at the preview.
Paiges Crossing Pictures
Oct 19, 2007Just a quickie this time as we’re off to Cedar Point for the weekend. (more on that in a minute)
So what’s new this time? A small gallery of brand new Paige’s Crossing Pictures. Yeah, it’s a small FEC outside of Ft. Wayne, but their family coaster is pretty neat, so take a look at that at the very least. It’s actaully a really nice little place. At any rate, check out the pics. We now have more than 5200 photos in the galleries covering 84 parks/locations. Good stuff.
Back to that Cedar Point weekend - looking forward to it as Halloweekends are always fun. I’m going to try to turn around the pics and/or video I grab this weekend relatively quickly. So watch for those early next week. After that we have just one more day planned at Kings Island and I’ll be spending the offseason getting the other 10 new parks, three special features and this year’s DVD added. There is no offseason around here.

New Holiday World Pictures, Video & More
Oct 11, 2007Goodies! This time I have new Holiday World Pictures, a brand spankin’ new Holiday World Video and a cool new Voyage Wallpaper that reminds me of an old time postcard image for some reason. Plus, there’s a new Raven Panoramic photo and a couple of new 3D pictures from Holiday World as well. Be sure to check it all out - you can’t go wrong with Holiday World goodness.
I think I finally have all of the real-life business behind me and this should be the first in a string of constant, frequent and numerous updates that will probably last pretty much until next spring. How’s that for a promise?
You also might have noticed more and more pages converting over to the ‘new’ look. I’m putting those out as I get time. Slow and steady for now. Right now the site is a bit of a mish-mosh of recent style changes. It will be slowly working itself out to one consistent style over the next couple of months, so be patient.
Not much else new. We still have one more trip before this season ends for us. I have tons of photos, still more video, a couple of special features and a new 2007 DVD on the way in the coming months. At least 10 ‘Courics’ worth (the right people got that) of material to add, so keep checking back.
And if that’s too much of a hassle, then sign on to the mailing list and we’ll let you know when something worth looking at gets added. Cool?
