Day 7 - Castaway Cove, Gillians & Steel Pier
Today we made a few quick stops.
First up was Playland’s Castaway Cove. The catch was that we were about 4 hours early. Even thought the rides weren’t open we were able to get photos, so it wasn’t a total loss.
After that we headed a few blocks north to Gillian’s Wonderland Pier. They were open and quite busy. We got a few rides in - including their Runaway Tarin coaster. However, I just realized a little bit ago that I neglected to get pics of their other two coasters. No idea where my brain hiccupped on that one.
Third for the day was a stop at Steel Pier. Got some good photos there and moved on.
We stopped by Echelon Mall to see if Krazy City was close to opening as the mall’s website says May 2008 and Krazy City’s website says Opening Soon. Turns out that they’re not really that close to opening and the sign at the mall says Late Summer. It was a gamble anyway. We found some great deals at the mall though, so that was cool.
