Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Pictures
This time we have a rare Sunday update. No, it’s not a day early, it’s actually about a week late. I had some non-coaster related photography stuff (gasp!) that I had to finish up and take care of. So without further ado, I offer brand new Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom pictures. There’s 73 photos of the park to check out there. Some good stuff considering the pathetic shooting conditions. Overcast skies are the worst.
So what’s next? This weekend we’ll be hitting Holiday World, Beech Bend and maybe a little something else. Not a bad way to spend Labor Day weekend…not a bad way at all. Plus, it fulfills my promise to go back and pick up all the parks we missed at the end of last year’s Big Two Week Trip. I do keep my promises - even at the expense of wasting an entire season visiting parks that I should have last year. No biggie, it actually worked out for the best as both Holiday World & Beech Bend feature new-for-2006 coasters and this is a chance to check out the goods…last year would have been a miss. Lots of goodies to come - keep checking back starting next week.
I did some other smaller updates around the site. The travel schedule, amusement park maps and some other things have been updated. Still saving the big fixes for the off-season.
After this weekend we still have BooBuzz at Cedar Point. Once all of this year’s photos and videos and downloads are taken care of I plan on using the winter to clean up the site. Things are a little messy and it’s been bugging me and then we’ll be finalizing plans for 2007. Right now it looks like another two week trip - this time to Orlando. Then there’s the new coaster at Dollywood and the new coaster at Cedar Point and the new coaster at Busch Gardens and Ghost Town In The Sky is trying to reopen next season. So little time so many parks.
At any rate, enjoy the new photos and check back next week for stuff from Labor Day weekend to start rolling in. Also, don’t forget the coasterimage.com Gear - never too late to score some goodies and as always, big thanks to those who continue to pick this stuff up!
