Animal Kingdom & Epcot

Animal Kingdom & Epcot

Let me just start this update by saying that if this is slow season in a bad economy, then I’d hate to see the midways around here during peak season on a normal year. I can’t believe how many people visit these parks.

I’d like to follow that up by saying that my family consists of some hardcore park goers. We haven’t slowed down yet. Full days everyday.

After Monday’s rainout, we stopped by Animal Kingdom on Tuesday and had a blast. The weather has been on the cool side so not all the animals were out and/or active, but we managed to do everything we wanted and then some and still see plenty of wildlife.

On Wednesday we spent the day at Epcot. Lots of fun exploring the different countries of the World Showcase and still time to dig into Future World a little. We’ll be heading back to finish up there on Thursday – and double up on some favorites…and food.

Speaking of cool weather, not only did we pick one of the coolest weeks in a while to visit, we picked one of the coldest days ever – tonight’s low temps are expected to approach record levels. I sort of prefer the mild temperatures.

I hate to keep these entries so short but keeping up this pace at Disney World is a killer and I need to sleep whenever I can…and that means now.
