MILLENNIUM FORCE WINAMP SKIN
|
|
|
Another
simple design. I wanted to do a skin based on a coaster and figured
the tallest continuous circuit coaster in the USA would do just fine.
(at the time it was - that has since changed) This skin is very understated
and uncluttered. I'm happy with the results and I kind of prefer the
plain look to the cluttered feel many winamp skins have. Also note that
the yellows in this screenshot are washed out for some reason. In the
actual skin the yellows are much more bold and offer nice contrast to
the blue background. I went with chrome highlights and buttons because
I felt it matched the modern feel of Millennium Force. This one is all
skinned except for the browser. I'd have finished that too but I was
getting bored with this skin as I worked with it on and off over the
course of a month doing a little at a time. I'd rather start a whole
new skin than put time into finishing the browser part of this one.
Does anyone really use the browser in Winamp anyway?

RAVEN WINAMP SKIN
|
|
|
Since
I had some extra time while waiting for my scanner to show up, I needed
something to pass the time. I began rooting through the files on my
hard drive and stumbled onto this Raven logo. Before I even knew what
I was doing, I had this skin well underway. A simple, clean skin in
every sense of the words with a plain white background and all graphics
based on the red color in the raven logo. I've been using this one for
a few days now and I still love it. (Browser not skinned, everything
else is)

COASTERIMAGE WINAMP SKIN
|
|
|
The
first skin I made. I figured I'd be able to test the water and make
a promotinal tool at the same time. I've very happy with the results,
even if this skin is a tad on the "simple" side. A full skin
in that all four areas (main, eq, playlist and browser) have been skinned.
Little touches include a coaster car on the progress bar that travels
from left to right as the song progresses. Overall it uses the same
colors and feel of this site and was fun to make. Try it out for a while,
it might just grow on you.

CORKSCREW WINAMP SKIN
|
|
|
This
is a pretty simple skin, but the photo just fit the format so well. While
it looks like a classic skin, it is actually a modern one. It will work
with all recent versions of Winamp. The Playlist and Media Library windows
are skinned in a simple blue & white (honestly, because I got lazy)
while the main window and EQ window combine to form this cool shot of
Valleyfair's Corkscrew. It's a very simple design, but a neat way to keep
a coaster on your desktop.

I
know a lot of people use Winamp for their audio files, specifically mp3
files. I also know that it's pretty hard to find amusement park, theme
park or roller coaster related skins for Winamp. Thus I decided to try
to take matters into my own hands. These are all 100% original creations.
Don't be fooled by other sites who offer skins and forget to mention that
they didn't make them and they're publically available elsewhere. The
skins offered here are coasterimage.com originals, if you see them somewhere
else, then they stole them from us. This area will be updated whenever
I get the time and motivation to bother with making these skins. |
