Universal Refreshment

Check this out. A box is delivered to my house last week and among the contents is this little gem. Go ahead, take a look. I’ll still be here.
Yeah, someone took that ad and framed it – presumably 20 years ago when this contest originally ran. Turns out a good friend found this at a garage sale or something a while back, thought of me and snagged it. Last week, I get a box. Fast forward to now and I’m sharing it with you. I’m just wondering why someone bothered framing and preserving it. I suppose it’s a neat look into ...

Souvenir Cups

Admittedly, it started as a tongue-in-cheek addition to the website, but over the years it’s grown into a unique collection of…ummm, photos of cups. For what it’s worth, I just added some new cups. I apologize for the slow couple of weeks around here, but if you follow the site at all (and I say this every year at this time), the fall is when pesky ‘real life’ gets in the way and I tend to find less time to roll out the goods around coasterimage.com. I’m hoping everything slows down in the next couple of weeks and I can get ...

Ober Gatlinburg Pictures

I have a quickie for you this time. 20 new Ober Gatlinburg pictures. If you’re into crazy little parks nestled in the mountains, this is the place for you. How can you go wrong catching the Tramway up the mountain to the park and enjoying a few rides, shops and even ice skating before grabbing a seat on the Scenic Chairlift to go even further up the mountain and catch a thrilling ride back down on the Alpine Slide? Such is the Ober Gatlinburg experience.
I must apologize for what probably seems like general neglect and lack of updates in the past few ...

New Casino Pier Pictures

I just hooked you up with 31 new Casino Pier pictures. You might not have known it, but trust me, they’re there. All you have to do is swing by the Casino Pier photo gallery and check them out. Of course, if you just want to see the new stuff without wading around the old, then we have a gallery of shiny, mint condition newness available too. But this is one of those times you might want to look through the old and the new side by side. One of the neat things about waiting half a decade or more to ...

Ghost Town In The Sky Pictures

How does a brand new gallery featuring 80 Ghost Town In The Sky pictures sound? Pretty good, I hope. Because that’s what you’re getting this time around. Ghost Town is a pretty neat place, so be sure to give the photos a look. This update officially puts the count of coasters included on this site over 400. Kind of ironic that the coaster that breaks that mark is one that has only operated for two days in the past 7 years, isn’t it? This update also put the number of other rides and attractions (flat rides, water rides, dark rides, thrill ...

New Uncle Bernie’s Pictures

So this is like a really tiny update. I slipped 10 new Uncle Bernie’s pictures into the gallery. I figured it’s the holiday weekend in the USA and you probably have better things to do than look at pictures online. So take a quick look and go have fun this weekend – maybe swing by a park or two and get some rides in. We’ll most likely end up at Kings Island (again!) to say goodbye to Nickelodeon Universe before the characters get evicted and Snoopy and the Peanuts gang move in. Definitely some photos and maybe some video (I always say that, ...

New Boomers Pictures

Continuing with the “Tiny Update” theme, I give you brand new pictures from our trip to South Florida last week. There’s a dozen or two new Boomers pictures to be found in the gallery. Of course, if you’re a coasterimage.com verteran and just want the new stuff, plain and simple, then here’s a gallery of only new Boomers photos for you. We also stopped at Uncle Bernie’s since we were in the neighborhood, so expect another tiny update later this week.
Not much else going on. This is the time of year that things get a little busy in my everyday life ...

Steel Pier Pictures

I was hoping to squeeze in another update before we left and here it is just hours before I hop on a plane and head for the sunny shores of this country’s 27th state. If you watch our facebook page, you might have thought that some new Carowinds photos were on the way, but a lack of time forced me to switch gears an offer up 28 brand spanking new Steel Pier pictures. Definitely give them a look. It shouldn’t take too long and with this update we now feature 107 different amusement parks in our main gallery with over 7100 ...

New Kennywood Pictures

I have a bunch of new Kennywood photos for you this time. The weather wasn’t very cooperative, but I still pulled out some nice shots. Head on over to the Kennywood photo gallery and take a look at the full collection (spanning 7 years) or if you just prefer the newest and shiniest photos, then head over and check out just the 38 brand new Kennywood photos by themselves. I’m offering it up both ways, so take your pick.
We leave for Florida on the 19th (yes, I will be making coaster stops for rides, photos and maybe a little video…maybe) and I’d like ...

New Kings Island Photos

I know it seems like I just disappeared. I didn’t though. It’s only been two weeks and in that time I visited a couple of parks and spent a little time taking care of other things, but I was thinking about y’all the whole time. I swear. I believe I mentioned more than once that we’d be swinging by Kennywood and we did – on a completely overcast and raining day. Not the best photo day, but I still snapped as much as I could before putting the camera in the nice dry car. I’ve already started sorting though the carnage ...
