Five Tiny Updates

Five Tiny Updates

This time I have 66 new photos delivered in 5 bite-sized morsels. Just a bunch of little updates that when combined become…well, a little bit more. We’ve reached a couple of new milestones with this update too. There are now over 100 amusement parks included in the photo galleries. On top of that, there are now photos of more than 1000 non-coaster rides there too. That’s some serious stuff. All the more reason to use the search feature in the galleries. You can use any search term that makes sense to you and you’re bound to find something related. Search ride names, ride types, maybe even a particular feature or adjective describing a ride. Be creative. It’s a pretty fun and useful feature. On to the updates:

Downtown Disney Pictures - I finally put the rest of the Disney photos up and included some new shots from Downtown Disney. We stopped by at night again, so it’s more ‘after dark’ photos, but at least there’s some updated looks.

Cherokee Fun Park Pictures – As far as I can tell, this park isn’t operating. It sure wasn’t when we swung through the Smoky Mountains. I still took a few photos before we moved on. There’s a couple of panoramics in the bunch.

Family Kingdom Amusement Park Pictures – We spent a few days in Myrtle Beach and stopped by Family Kingdom at the end of an already long day. The place was packed and we hopped on a few rides before ducking out a vowing to stop back for more before we left the area. Unfortunately, that never happened. What I have here is a small collection of nighttime photos.

Pavilion Nostalgia Park Pictures – Pavilion Nostalgia Park pays tribute to the old Myrtle Beach Pavilion park that closed in 2006. It’s a decent collection of rides and attractions located at Broadway At The Beach. Definitely worth a look.

Carousel Park Pictures - This was a surprise for us. We headed to Broadway At The Beach in search of Pavilion Nostalgia Park and Nascar Speedpark then stumbled upon this small collection of kiddie rides on the way. I love accidentally finding amusement park rides.

So that’s what’s up this time around. Admittedly, nothing major. I’m not going to try to sell this as anything more than it is. There’s some different parks in the bunch and there’s not too many people (anyone?) offering up pictures of some of these parks and rides, so take a quick look and see if there’s something that catches your eye.

Not sure what pictures are going to find their way here next. I’d really love to get something new up by the end of the week, but I’m not promising anything. This weekend we’re going to be spending some time at Kings Island to check out the Action Sports World Tour. Should be some fun photo opportunities there…and Diamondback, of course. Lots of Diamondback.
