INSPIRATION AND HELP
COASTERBUZZ - Jeff Putz runs an incredible site. Coasterbuzz has become THE place for enthusiasts on the internet. Up to date news, tons of park info, a great (moderated) forum, the Coasterbuzz Club and way too much more to list here make it a must visit for anyone interested in Roller Coasters or Amusement Parks.

COASTERGALLERY - I include this one because of the sheer number of coasters and parks represented. Jeff and Joel Rogers span the globe to bring you one of the most varied collection of roller coaster photos on the internet today. These guys took it to the next level in terms of covering a large number of parks.

ROLLER COASTER DATABASE (RCDB) - An incredibly comprehensive site offering all the roller coaster information you could ever need. The main source for the info on this site. A must visit site for any enthusiast. Plus, Duane is one of the nicest/coolest guys around.

TECHNICAL
Canon - The only choice in my eyes once you 'go big' in the digital realm. If you want to step up to a DSLR then I doubt you'll look much further than Canon.

Adobe - Photoshop. You know what it is. Take some time to learn how to use it and you'll have a tool of infinite power at your disposal. 50% of the credit for the content of this site has to go to Adobe.

Macromedia - Dreamweaver is a great tool for creating websites. I've used most of the other major ones but I kept finding myself coming back to Dreamweaver. After a few months with demos from a few different companies I ended up buying Dreamweaver.

Sonic Foundry - I use more Sonic Foundry products than I care to mention here and I have since long before this site was even a glimmer in my eye. Great products for multimedia production. Check out Sound Forge and Acid for audio and Vegas for video. There's literally tons of other Sonic Foundry software I use regularly here too. It's all good! Since I originally wrote this, Sonic Foundry sold their line of multimedia production software to Sony. Look for these products under the Sony name. Same stuff, different owner. I just wanted to keep the Sonic Foundry name there because those are the folks who pumped out some of the best multimedia creation software on the market, Sony just snatched up the goods.
