Magic Kingdom Fun

Magic Kingdom Fun

What is it about Disney World that makes it seem like there’s just never enough time? I’m sitting here typing this and looking at the clock realizing I have to be up in just 6 hours to keep the fun rolling.

It’s Sunday night (well, technically Monday morning, but I haven’t slept yet) and we got here yesterday. In that time we’ve already done more than most people do at the average theme park. Luckily we’re at Disney World and the experience is anything but average.

After picking up our rental car (a surprisingly sweet Charger) we made a beeline to the Animal Kingdom Lodge…and more specifically, our room there. After checking out the hotel a bit we zipped over to the Magic Kingdom. We managed to catch the whatever-the-hell-they-call-it show in front of Cinderella’s Castle, the Spectro parade and Wishes along with a quick ride on the Haunted Mansion in just a couple of hours.

Today we returned bright an early and seemingly stayed one step ahead of the crowds for much of the day. Too much to list, but we easily hit all the ‘major’ rides (many twice!) and some of the minor ones too. Also caught a couple of shows before heading out of the park early to watch one of the best Super Bowl games of all time (with room service).

I’ve already taken a gazillion photos – although it feels like I haven’t captured a fraction of the Magic Kingdom and a bunch of video too. Between the sheer amount of things to do, just having fun and trying out the new video camera, I feel like I’m neglecting the photography.

My mind is tired and racing at the same time. Further proof that I must be at Disney World. I was hoping to include some pics here, but I have to catch a few Z’s if I even remotely expect to keep up the current pace.

Check back tomorrow and we’ll see how it goes.
