New Kings Island Photos
I know it seems like I just disappeared. I didn’t though. It’s only been two weeks and in that time I visited a couple of parks and spent a little time taking care of other things, but I was thinking about y’all the whole time. I swear. I believe I mentioned more than once that we’d be swinging by Kennywood and we did – on a completely overcast and raining day. Not the best photo day, but I still snapped as much as I could before putting the camera in the nice dry car. I’ve already started sorting though the carnage and will have those photos up soon enough, but we also stopped by Kings Island later in the week (can’t get enough Diamondback, I guess) and I found myself right in the middle of another drizzling, overcast, not-good-for-photos kind of day. This time though, the skies cleared a bit during mid-afternoon and I did a little shooting. Got some pretty sweet photos too if I don’t say so myself. You can find them in the mix in the Kings Island gallery or if you just want to see the new stuff you can look at this gallery of just the newest Kings Island pictures – it’s just the newest photos.
That’s actually a feature I started playing with just before I did the site redesign last fall and kind of forgot about, but now it’s back for good. Seems like a nice little bonus for those of you who’ve been with us for a while. No reason to go searching through hundreds of photos for a handful of new ones (or in this case through almost 400 photos for the 30-some new ones). Go give the new stuff a look – like I said there’s some really nice shots in the bunch…lots of new Diamondback pictures. I just keep getting drawn back to it, what can I say?
Speaking of Diamondback, I also added two new Diamondback Wallpaper images and a Flight Deck wallpaper. So swing by and see if those high resolution images might be something you’d like on your desktop staring at you everytime you fire up your computer.
So yeah, I’m back after a week or so off (vacation from taking vacations is still a vacation – think about it) and the updates will keep rolling from here. I have the Kennywood photos. I still have a bunch of tiny updates sitting here waiting to be added and later this month we’ll be in South Florida so I might have to make time to revisit the coasters down there…and put the photos online here, of course.
