I'm not entirely sure exactly how I began playing with panoramic coaster pictures. I think it has something to do with the way many roller coasters seem to stretch off into the horizon farther than the eye can often see.
The format of the panoramic photo lends itself nicely to this design and is probably the reason they're often used for landscape style photography. Sometimes you just want to capture as much as possible.
This is a collection of the panroamic shots I've done. These photos can all be found in their individual park galleries, but I wanted to make a single place to showcase them all side-by-side. They aren't limited to the sizes most of the photos on this site stick by. All of these are available as extra-large, high resolution photos for your viewing pleasure.
To get the most viewing enjoyment out of these, I suggest finding the options in your browser and turning off any resizing features it may offer. Today's browsers often come equipped to shrink images to fit your screen. That may be fine in many cases, but it does reduce quality and resolution and in this case defeats the purpose of the coaster photo entirely. Some of these amusement park photos reach sizes of up to 5000 pixels wide and offer tons of great detail when viewed at full resolution. Enjoy!
