American Adventures is owned by Six Flags. There
is some inconsistency in using the Six Flags name. The park in general
doesn't seem to be advertised too much as a Six Flags Property,
but all employees wore shirts with the Six Flags logo. Banners at
the park included the Six Flags name above the American Adventures
logo, but on most of the rides "American Adventures" was
present without the Six Flags name. The park also does not accept
Six Flags passes for entry. I don't know why I mentioned that, I
just felt I needed to. With all of that said, my daughter and I
really enjoyed the few hours we spent here. It's a small park on
the edge of a wooded area with mainly kiddie rides. Kind of felt
like a small, old time, local park, but if owned by a large corporation.
Not much for the thrillseekers in your life (except maybe a ride
credit on Ridgeline Racer) but if you have kids the Foam Factory
is worth the price of admission alone. American Adventures is a
great little "secret" in Atlanta. |
