| SYNOPSIS |
Busch Gardens Tampa was the first park I visited
after commiting to trying my hand at an amusement park website.
I had just gotten my camera a few weeks before and was anxious to
see what I could do. We left the day before for Tampa (a three hour
drive) and I found myself becoming very ill. The entire drive and
the entire night in the hotel I was as sick as it gets. I feared
the worst. After a solid three hours sleep we got up and I was better.
Felt fine. A very weird thing. Basically all the shots in this gallery
are "test shots" as this was my first try at serious park
photography. We had plans on getting back to Busch a few times during
2001 and even bought a Bronze Passport good for admission all year.
We found out a few days later that my wife was pregnant. Needless
to say she wasn't exactly keen on the idea of three hour drives
to Tampa when she couldn't exactly ride the coasters. We never made
it back. 6 weeks after my son was born we left Florida. I still
regret not getting many of the photos that I could have. Busch Gardens
is a really nice place and I hope it shows in my pictures. |
