Busch Gardens Williamsburg has been one of those
parks I've wanted to sample since even before I knew I was an enthusiast.
With each passing year it just didn't happen. Finally in 2003 we
made it to opening day. The weather was beautiful for March and
the park was every bit as nice. Busch has a small but stellar collection
of coasters. Alpengeist is a B&M inverted coaster that's just huge.
Apollo's Chariot is a B&M air filled hyper. Big Bad Wolf is a stellar
example of what the Arrow Suspended design can do. The list goes
on. In addition to these great coasters, we found a well rounded
selection of flat rides, cool wildlife on display and scenery that
may just be second to none. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is definitely
among the best parks in the country and somewhere you should stop
if you have any interest in parks or coasters (and you probably
do or you wouldn't be here) |
