SYNOPSIS

Camp Snoopy is an amusement park located dead center in the Mall Of America. Kind of an attraction within an attraction. Even if you're not the shopping type (and I'm not), you owe it to yourself to stop by and check out camp Snoopy. They have a good collection of family coasters. Timberland Twister is a Gerstlauer spinning coaster that weaves between and around other rides while zipping by above the park's walkways. Pepsi Ripsaw is a long ride with a layout that covers the entire park and includes a slow, almost dark ride-like middle section that cuts through the log flume. Lil' Shaver is a basic oval layout powered coaster perfect for the littlest of riders. In addition to the coasters there is a full compliment of flat rides (including kiddie rides) and all the games, shops and restaraunts you'd expect to find in any amusement park. You'd be a fool to miss this if stopping by the Mall Of America and it's certainly worth a stop even without the mall if ever in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

As of January 16, 2006 the park is now known as "The Park at MOA" after losing its deal to use the Peanuts characters. No word on if this is permanent or temporary until a new licensing deal can be made.

On March 1, 2007 the park annouced a 10-year deal with Nickelodeon to license their characters for the park.
