| SYNOPSIS |
We visitied Carowinds on a rainy day in early June.
Exactly the type of weather that keeps people away...but us enthusiasts
know better. The parking lot couldn't have had more than 100 cars
in it. I'm not sure I've ever seen a park so empty. We got lots
of rides on all the coasters. Top Gun is one of the best inverted
coasters I've ever had the pleasure of riding. Thunder Road is a
fun woodie with one side running backwards. Carolina Cyclone is
probably the best example of an older Arrow looping coaster that
I've stumbled across. Scooby Doo's Ghost Coaster is small in size
but big in fun. On top of this the park itself was among the nicest
I've been to. Overall a great experience (even with the early closing)
and I'd have no problem recommending it to anyone. |
