Lost Coaster Of Superstition Mountain was originally a powered dark ride that was converted into a roller coaster for the 2002 season. Instead of a traditional lift hill, the ride uses this 35 foot tall elevator lift to raise cars to the top of the course.

The ride uses these little two-car trains. Riders face each other during the ride.

The ride darts indoors and outdoors several times during its run. The layout is full of steep little drops and ridiculously tight turns.

In case you're wondering why the trains are covered, take a look at the tight clearance between the cars and the structure of the mountain. It's just a safety measure to protect riders.

Indiana Beach still has one of the cars from the original powered ride on display at the park.
