We visited Lake Compounce as the second day of a
5 day amusement park trip. We'd heard only good things about the
Lake and it lived up to every expectation and more! Without a doubt
one of the nicest, friendliest parks in the USA. The park features
one of the best wooden coasters in the country with Boulder Dash,
a great old woodie in Wildcat, and Zoomerang, a Vekoma Boomerang
model. There is also a collection of flat rides that will leave
everybody finding something to their liking. On top of all of this
the park offers free soda to all guests! We went in with the mentality
that this was a smaller park so we could hit everything and get
moving in a half day or so, but Lake Compounce just won us over
so much that we stayed until closing. I'm not sure when (or if)
we'll get the chance to go back but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Lake Compounce should be on every enthusiasts "must visit"
