Lake Winnepesaukah (Lake Winnie to most) is the classic amusement park experience. A lakefront setting with a midway full of games, rides and food is the setting and the collection of rides ranges from the classic to the modern and offers something for everyone. Cannon Ball is a great wooden coaster offering thrills for all while their Boat Chute ride built in 1926 (the first ride ever at Lake Winnie) is still one of their most entertaining and popular rides. The even have the only working Fly-O-Plane in the United States. Combine all of that with a great staff and the aforementioned classic amusement park experience and you have no reason to pass up this park if you're ever passing through the Chattanooga area.
