Wisconsin
Dells is a wild place. I don't think anyone would argue that it
has tourist trap written all over it. Among the strip are various
amusement spots with collections of odd rides & attractions.
One of these stops was Big Chiefs Carts & Coasters. They basically
offered a selection of unique go-karts and wooden roller coasters.
Over the years the place grew into a full fledged amusement park
and changed their name. What you have now is complete resort with
a hotel, waterpark, go-karts, roller coasters and a growing collection
of flat rides. Certainly a cool place to check out and for any coaster
fan a must stop with a solid line-up of roller coasters. The go-kart
tracks are unlike any I have ever seen anywhere else with multiple
levels, airtime hills, bridges and long, twisted layouts. The waterpark
area offers plenty for anyone into that sort of thing and even has
an indoor waterpark section. There's tons to see and do in Wisconsin
Dells, but when you go, a stop at Mt. Olympus is a must. |
