Route 66 Carousel Park is a unique mix of fun center and amusement park. They have more rides available than you typically see at fun centers, but also have the mini-golf, arcade, batting cages, go-karts and thing normally associated with smaller fun center style places. Regardless of how you classify, the park is a unique stop that sits along Route 66 in Joplin, Missouri. The day we stopped, the park was closed and there was some work being done, but the folks there were incredibly friendly and let me get photos even though they were closed. If you find yourself driving along Rt. 66 and come across Joplin - it might be worth it to take a look at this neat little stop along the side of the road.
