The beast itself! I know many coaster sites out there explain the Kraken
as a creature kept by Poseidon but I've always understood the Kraken to be a large squid-like creature said to have attacked Norse sailing vessels in the 18th century. More a legend than mythology. She doesn't look very squid-like though. |
