| SYNOPSIS |
Six
Flags Great Adventure has one of the largest collections of roller
coasters in the east. Some truly top notch rides are located right
there in New Jersey. 2003 saw the addition of Superman Ultimate
Flight, which made it's public debut on a very cold April day (as
some of our photos show). Nitro is a great creation delivering moment
after moment of "floater" airtime. Medusa is one of only a few "floorless"
coasters in the USA. Batman The Ride is one of the first inverted
coasters and still delivers. Kingda Ka is the world's
tallest and fastest roller coaster. El Toro is the first Intamin wooden coaster in the United States. And that's just a third of the
park's coaster lineup! There are wonderful areas for smaller children
with rides and shows. In addition to all of this there is also waterpark
and drive through safari if you'd prefer to get away from the park
for a little while. Definitely a park you want to visit when in
the New Jersey area. |
