Stricker's Grove is a cute little park that consists of basically one small midway punctuated by two wooden coasters. Here's the kicker - the park is only open to the public two days a year. They generally operate as a park available for private functions, but open their gates to the public on the fourth of July and the second Sunday in August (Family Day). The coasters are of a small/medium size and are good fun for all types of riders. The collection of flats rides include a full array of classic kiddie rides and a handful of larger rides and a train ride that circles the property. The entire park just oozes a down-home, small town, good time vibe. Definitely worth a stop if the timing is right - the corn alone would make it worth it! |
