Valleyfair
is another one of those parks that I've been wanting to visit for
a long time. I'd heard nothing but great things about it and was
very interested. Finally in 2005 we took a long two week trip and
included Valleyfair. I wasn't disappointed. The park was among the
cleanest I've ever set foot in with a great atmosphere and some
wonderful landscaping - especially for a Cedar Fair park. They have
a solid line-up of coasters including the Mogan Hypercoaster, Wild
Thing. There is also Steel Venom - a cool Intamin Impulse coasters
that launches you into a vertical twist. The line-up also offers
the chance to sample some relative rarities (one of only 4 IAD created
coasters and one of only 4 Arrow Mad Mouse coasters to be built).
The waterpark is on the small-ish side but very nice. All in all,
I'd definitely welcome the chance to return and would suggest a
stop for anyone in the vicinity.
