Wyandot Lake is a nice little park situated right
next to the Columbus Zoo in Powell, Ohio. It is primarily a water
park with many wet attractions, but also features a selection of
flat rides, a small kiddie area and a roller coaster. We went on
a less than warm day and found the park almost ridiculously empty.
Every ride in the park was a walk-on. Employees were so over the
top friendly that we couldn't believe it. The rides are pretty standard
small park fare and the Sea Dragon coaster is a wooden coaster of
a size that the whole family can enjoy. Wyandot Lake is a park that
I'd easily recommend to anyone considering a trip or even to people
passing by the Columbus area on their way between the larger Ohio
parks. Good fun in a delightful little package. |
