GEAUGA LAKE VIDEO

On September 21, 2007 Cedar Fair issued a press release announcing that Geauga Lake would become exclusively a water park attraction beginning with the 2008 season. All other operations in the park (namely the rides) would no longer be a part of the park's future.

This came as a great blow to many in the enthusiast community as it was a bit of a surprise to see a park with such a long operating history essentially being shut down.

This video consists entirely of footage gathered at Geauga Lake on opening day of the 2007 season - what would turn out to be the park's final year as a full-blown amusement park. No fancy editing. No music added. Just 8+ minutes of coasters and rides from that day.
