HADES VIDEO

Hades was new for 2005 at Mt. Olympus Theme Park in Wisconsin Dells. There was much interest in this coaster as it was being built. Designed by The Gravity Group (many former CCI employees) was enough to pique the enthusiast community's interest, but when early photos popped up showing the ride with an extended underground section it became the talk of the off-season. Then shortly before the 2005 season began a few photos of what went down in that underground part essentially made this the 'must-ride' wooden coaster of 2005. These shots showed a wide turn banked at a full 90 degrees. Hell, I'm no different than anyone else and Hades became part of our 2005 plans.

I'm glad to say this ride lives up to all the hype and while this video doesn't include footage of the pitch black underground portion of the ride (it'd just be black anyways) - it does give a good idea of the insanity this coaster delivers. As a bonus I tacked some additional Mt. Olympus footage onto the end. Enjoy!
