New for 2007 at Cedar Point is the western-themed Maverick. This steel airtime monster now occupies the space at the back of the park where White Water Landing once was.
I'd be hard pressed to name more than a handful of coasters that just don't let up from the time you leave the station right up until you hit the final brake run, but Maverick is among that rare group. The layout is deceiving with inversions and oddly twisted track, but this ride delivers airtime in abundance throughout the course. It's simply fun to ride.
This video shows some of what Maverick does and if you're interested in coasters at all, I suggest you head to Sandusky and give this one a try - I doubt you'll be disappointed.
