PIPELINE EXPRESS VIDEO

Pipeline Express is a crazy little coaster and for that I put together a crazy little video. According to the Roller Coaster Database there were only 5 Bailey Auto Sled coasters ever built. As of 2004 only two remained in operation. Pipeline Express at Wild Water & Wheels in Perterborough, Ontario is one of those two.

Basically, the ride is a sled on a track. A flimsy conveyer belt type contraption takes the sleds from the end of the run to the top. You climb approximately 15 million kabillion zillion stairs to the top to board. Snap the seatbelt across your lap and the ride-op gives you a shove. Wheeee!

The general speed of the ride seems to depend solely on two things - your weight and how hard the ride-op pushed you. So if you're heavy and the ride-op on duty is juiced up - you're in.
