Well, that's that. The kids seemed even worse today. We packed it in 5 parks short of the goal and made the 7 hour drive home from Louisville.

Seems like a bit of an anticlimatic ending, huh?

I appreciate everyone reading along. The numbers were much higher than I anticipated. I'd definitely do this again for any trip we take of significant time.

In the end we hit 11 parks/locations so expect the normal photos, videos and such to roll in in a timely fashion.

No quote of the day, no count updates, no pics - this one is just sort of fizzling out...

...I just hope the kids feel better soon.

For the record, all is not lost. Both Holiday World and Beech Bend should have new additions in 2006. Looks like we can head back to Louisville and pick up right where we left off once next season starts. And there's still July, August and September of this year. Hell, it's July 1st and we've already hit 15 parks this year. We're still kicking ass!
