Studios Rainy Day

Today we swung by the Hollywood Studios park (but I thought we were in Florida!?) and started out strong as usual – Tower Of Terror, Rock N Rollercoaster, Toy Story Mania, Star Tours all in record time and with no waits (we’re good like that) and then the rain started…and it wasn’t bad. Then it kept raining…and kept raining…and just when it got to be annoying, it rained harder.

Not a good day for pulling the camera out…not at all. Not really a good day for being at a theme park. But we still made the most of it before cutting our losses and scoring a reservation at Boma and gorging on sweet African fare (the Mushroom Soup is ridiculous) and watching the animals from our balcony. The savannah view is worth every penny.

We finished up with some time in the resort arcade playing a little bit of everything and called it a night a little early.

We’ll be spending a windy Tuesday at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and hopefully the weather is a bit more cooperative.
