The Great Movie Ride

This time I’m hooking you up with some Great Movie Ride video from Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World…in HD even! You can’t go wrong with the classics. It’s a spectacular journey into the movies.

Since we’re on the topic of coasterimage.com video, I just wanted to go over the seemingly countless options you have for getting your hands on the goods. Starting in 2009 we began recording our vids in HD. You can watch the videos in full HD resolution at YouTube or Vimeo. You can download them in full HD resolution at Vimeo but I think you need to create an account to do so. I know that kind of sucks, but those files are huge and I don’t need the bandwidth bill. The videos are also available to download in two other sizes right here at coasterimage.com. The “large” size is of average quality and comparable to what you’ll find available most places on the internet. Great for downloading and watching on your desktop or laptop or whatever and smaller (and quicker) than a full HD file. The “small” size is pre-formatted to go right on your iPod. If you’re the type to load up your iPod with coaster videos, then this is a great option. The videos are of high quality and sized for portability. They’re also a great option for fastest download times and are still useful for desktop & laptop viewing.

I hope that helps sort out the many downloading options. Just trying to create something that works for everyone. Don’t forget you can download the videos in DVD format as well. Just get the files and burn them to a DVD and watch them on your big screen.
